Need to find sum lowback seats. Dont like the look of dune buggy seats . It makes it less unatractive.

I did not like the roll bar so thats why I did the removable rack .

I shortend the rack alittle more and drilled the hitch pin holes and sent it to get powdercoated .

I have always wanted to build my own unique car, and after building a short wheel base beach buggy I now have a few more skills up my sleeve.
I looked into building a 550 Spyder and soon realised it would be too expensive. I then decided to design my own beetle based sports car inspired by the Spyder
It would be built on a shorted chassis, I've have kept the body design simple enough for me to build. I will start with a plywood mock up before I attempt any steel or fibre glass body.
I have attached preliminary drawings and a very rough foam model.
There is still tons of design work before I attempt any build like this.
