LOL!!! Persistence had nothing to do with it! I had zero interest in the yard buses and Eugene negotiated the sale of the 57. He pulled out of the deal and I stepped in; at that stage I didn't know the bus was in Stanford or that it was a package deal with all the yard buses! Unfortunately the free split buses thread was deleted in one of Eben's clean-ups.

Hitlers Revenge,
All visitors welcome just give me a call first in case I am having a

busy day or I am out.
Be prepared to rough it, its just me here holding the fort but there is always coffee and tea unless you give me some warning. Love to meet other Buggers.
Catch you later Bushpig (083-265-2616)

I also saw all the buses, but he said they belonged to someone else (partner) and were not for sale. I wanted to swop the beetles for a Penta outboard motor but eventually that deal fell through. As far as I know he has a terminal disease and often than not in CTown so is no longer in the game, but I will get an update some time.
I am sure you love the bus though....?
Fig when are you coming down to fix you bus

Braveheart's body removed and front axle and a little rust work to be sorted out.
Please ignore the photo dates had a camera battery issue.
The pedle cluster. Pedles stuffed so to the bulkhead.
Passenger bulkhead
Gearbox without the drums. All were different!
The front torson bar is bent and will have to be straightened. Any suggestions in Cape Town who can do the job.
The leaf spring bundle has one broken on top and one in the bottom.
Photos of the fromtend will follow.

I must say that I am looking forward to a few photo’s.
