We've decided on seats. We're going with S2000 seats. They're not new but we may get the re-done at a later date.

More update...

It's back in one piece. I ran out of time and had to drive back to Montreal.

Still happy with the result and everything is dead straight and aligned.

France was a trooper again this weekend and helped out getting everything lined up (sorry no pics).





Bolts are temporary, they were used to get everything lined up and tight.




Tom, how is the carpet going to cope with the seat rails? I'm probably going to be welding a flat piece of steel on the slides and mount the S2000 rails on the angled oe rails.

Next week-end, get everything cleaned up and welded. I should be able to get a rolling chassis.

I know there's an oem piece but I like being able to adjust pedals independently.

Here's the machined and mounted 2nd attempt at creating a custom Momo horn button. Looks pretty good.

France likes the smaller logo.

Another milestone, France has her buggy under power!






Still chugging along...

France learning every week-ends!

Starter installed, brake line done and bakes blead, Clutch cable shortened, hand brake cables shortened, battery bracket.















Getting there slowly but surely...

• Shift rod shortened
• Shifter installed
• Steering column installed*

*Jury is still out on whether the column is too long... Worst case, we'll forgo the steering coupler.

Got confirmation that motor shipped last week!

I made a Hoover Bit to improve the 36hp fan shroud.



Ignore the green case, I used it to test fit the shroud with the bit.

We have our wheels!



We'll just need to get adapters once we figure out what offset we need to end up with.

Looks like I have more casting to do to fab those center caps.

Test fitted the wheels and looks like I'll be able to use a 1/2" spacer up front and get the disks drilled with 5 bolt. The rear needs a 1-1/2" adapter.

I mean its not a tiring job, clicking away with the camera all day.

France just made us realize that we've been working on her Dune Buggy for 5 months today.

Also replaced the nose cone with new hockey stick, backup switch and new bushings. It shifts like it's new (probably because it is )
