Re: Operation Sweet Pea-take 3
Well my Danny vanished last week - must have had a big Valentines
Monday here we go again
Skin on some polyurathane sealant between the arches and some weight on the roof Gand F clamps to keep the bugger down and the welding/ brazing can begin
This was possibly the long way round but we felt that the finish on the hole that was the sunroof would not be as "easy" as this way
There was also the abvious rott on the corners under the skin that we only saw once the old roof was off
When all is done should have a good new roof with all the corners repaired for another 40 years or so
Here some pics

One pic did not come out so cool with the refelction from the metal but it shows the bath brazing on the holes that were made to remove the welds on the old skin

Re: Operation Sweet Pea-take 3
And the beat goes on
Right side filled and ready for primer
Nose sealed off also ready for primer
Rooof is on sanding down to get the lines roight fill sides and primer
I was looking at all the boxes of goodies and have decided this body work is the easy part
Putting all the bits back where they should be and finishing off is going to be a test for me as I will have to keep reminding myself to take it slow
Anyway progress is happening

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Looking neat Warwick
I still can't believe how quick you managed to do this. Good going!
We must make a turn some time to check it out
