my bug was parked outside at my moms place next to my old golf. golf looks like a golf ball, patio roof full of holes, bedroom windoes broken, patio furniture smashed, and the 40 year old bug has exactly 4 dents on the roof. 1 the size of a 50c coin and three the size of 10c coins (that took a while to find), and theres a little dent on the underside of the one headlight chrome ring. they really dont make em like they used to.

Ally bodied Rollers, Jags and Bentlys will probably respond better to dent doctor type dent removal systems

My bus was outside when it hailed, i had exactly 0 seconds to respond to the first hail stone. My roof looks like Jlos ass, all the dents are golf ball size.....except four, they are bigger than than my fist. The dents must measure about 15 cms accross and about 3 or 4 cms deep. Passanger winscreen is smashed completly, passenger indicator in smashed, drivers wiper arm is really badly damaged. I fell into a mild depression when i assesd the damage. I saw a 530d that was writen off because of hail damage, the roof had collapsed and the bonnet was distorted so badly it couldnt close.

There are a few in our yard that got damaged the hail did not plat broken beetle windshield then you must know the force that hail stone had to hid a basically vertical window to smash it

The yellow Bay window we just finished was at the panel beater that does some work for us and there is a hole hit in the body between the window rubber and the body
a newly spraye beetle was also out side being flatted and that and the Newly painted Ghia both have to be resprayd
My S4 Audi is full of dents and mirrors broken etc
but I was still Lucky the guys more to the east of Primrose was hit much much more than us M3 windows all round broken etc

My house has 26 broken windows......there were hail stones bigger than cricket balls in my garden. My bathroom is about 10m from my kitchen, directly down the passage, and i was picking up entire, intact hailstones as well as shards of glass on the bathroom floor, my father-in-law had hail stones buried 2 inches into his lawn. A friend of mine had to admit his daughtet into hospital after she was hit by a hail stone, another friends daughter is in hospital after a hail stone smashed througb the lounge window and through the glass table his duaghter was playing at,...lodging a piece of glass in her forehead. I have seen and repared some incredible hail damage, but i have nexer seen anything like what i saw on saturday

Man it seems like nature did a number on you guys, sorry to hear about everybodys damage. The paintless dent removal is very big here, and if you have a guy that knows what he is doing they can remove some pretty nasty dings. I have read that there is lots of trouble in SA, but did not know you guys pissed off the man upstairs too.

 @ Watercooled.
If thats the case, we will be threading water for a wail.

To all the guys with the damage, the pain is felt all the way down here.......

We have been flooding down here with a years rain in a few days, but only soft water, not the hard stuff.

Had the same years back in JHB, with my Audi 80 gls, that was a Mobile bird bath as well.

Still loved the car though.

Strength.......

A friend in Eastern jhb ended up in hospital after she went outside to pull her car under the carport. The peice of hail that her husband said that hit her was the size of a tennis ball and jaggerd.
