Drusky, I think Ron summed it all up pretty well.
I will go into it further, but it just becomes pointless politicised semantics. You either see the skewed demographics because of (ongoing) history in this country, that allow a segment of our population to enjoy a standard of living better than just about anywhere in the world, or you see a hard-done-by-we-was-robbed-and-aren't-good-enough-anyway attitude. The choice is a personal one to make. And it is a universal one - you can be unhappy anywhere in the world because it comes from inside of you, not your circumstances.....
My frustrations come from the fact that despite all the skills and resources we actually have available, the sum total (as in finished cars) most often ends up being less than the parts. And then we kick ourselves when we are down by arguing that we were second best to start with and justifying our mediocrity because of it? THAT is the bullshit attitude I want no part of.
