The lucky thing here is that the 1600S parts (the dash & related covers & mouldings) are the same as the 1303's, the unlucky thing here is that those are usually the first parts to go when a car goes to a scrapyard or gets broken for spares, I know from hunting these parts too that Volkspares don't have any that is not buggered. I had to buy two sets of dash vents to make up a complete set that works, it can become costly..

riaanj chech out this guy on junkmail the golf ou he has a 1303 in his scrap yard.still looks good .got a bonnetr on there .

GOT IT!
I got to work on Friday after a couple of days off and there it was, I told my panel beater and as soon as I get a chance I'll take it to him and see what he says..
It's not perfect, it's been repaired before but it hasn't been butchered like the one on the car..
Thanks 786, for the link to Da Golf Ou, and then ALSO a BIG thanks to Charl (snoeckie) for going round there & sending me pics of the bonnet before I spent my $$$ on it..

My company has accounts with two freight companies, so I contacted one of them (Triton) and they delivered to my office, I don't know what they charged as it doesn't say on the waybill, I'll see on my next paycheck when they deduct it..
Charl sent me photos of the car too, to my recolection there was no badges on the car, sorry, I'm still keeping my eye out for one for you though..
