What do you mean when you say the adjusters were fitted on the same day - did you lower the front ?

Yes the front has been lowered ,but this car is the sixth beetle I have owned with adjusters fitted to it and I never had a problem like this ,you turn the steering wheel in the direction you want to go then you turn again in the opposite direction and it does not reposed quick enough ,it's flipping dangerous,the guy that fitted the new link pins said it will take a while before it comes right but flip me I might kill my self trying to run the link pins in lol

It should respond instantly BUT tightly.

Maybe your problem in too much play in the steering arms

Get some one to turn the wheel and you lay underneath, and see where the delay is.

This might be a stupid question Bud, but did you do the wheel re-alignment? if you have a "tow out" scenario on the wheels you will have the same symptoms as you are describing
