One of the best things about the Bug is that the pedals come from the bottom... You can have your left toes on the clutch and left heel on the bottom end of the brake, while feathering the gas. Then just before pulling away put your right toes on the brake pedal, and use the heel of the right foot to rev it while releasing the clutch! And hay presto you can pull away with out stalling your unwilling bug. By changing the layout of the pedals you negate the advantages of this setup.... There is also huge advantages when using the technique around corners etc... Thats why in my opinion what you did Bugger is lank dof! Sorry bud just my opinion!!! Must be the boy racer in me...
