I dont think you are entirely correct about the fastest 0-80 time...

1600S, unique to South Africa, with twin Solex carbs - 0-80 in 8.2

1600S did not have twin carbs, had a single solex like normal 1600. we have had our 75 S since new

OK, I got it wrong, I got confused with the S and the SP

Agreed SP dual carbs, S single carb more fuel efficient so to speak.
