howzit homes....

im getting my cabbie sprayed for like R800, im so stoked. hopefully ill take all the stuff there nxt weekend.....so soked

i did the drop myself...a big mission-well worth it. volkspares sells them for R200 each. 40mm per adjuster...one is cool-u can still use standard shocks,
two will give u awesome...but u need other shocks-"gas shocks" i think? but i think the cortina shock can be made to work....not sure-dont quote me.

wots the prize on the velo rims

Never loose hope , my bug use to be yellow for 7 of the 20 years i own her. When i told my frends what i was planning to do , they would laught. Now they are reminded of my words when they see my bug in newspapers and a few times on tv. Do not rush take your time it pays of.Rome was not build in one day. The car looks nice and clean.

ja...shot, hard work is always appreciated!

i reckon wen u go look for shocks, take an old 1 with..and explain wot u doin-80mm drop. but im sure if the cortinas shock is shorter,
it must work...those cars were damn heavy. they were still made outta real steel, not this thin crap that they making cars outta today...ding for nothing.
i remember my dad had one(3.0lt xle) and he bumped into a big gate once....the crome bumper didnt even scratch....good solid cars back in the day

anyway...get a move on and post some pics

so i finally finished the door panels for the front doors...cant wait to get the new window winders(the chrome ones), im even thinking of
re-chroming the strip on the drivers side.

takin the cabbie to my mate on wednesday...so the she might be ready for assembly next weekend......very stoked.

even started her up on the weekend...prevent the barrels rusting....still sounds awesome, funny thing though....i've always noticed more pressure blowing
fro the one outlet, which is strange coz its one box with two outlets. this should mean there is some sorta blockage? but i looked down with a torch
and stuck a long screwdriver down...nothing. YET...when i started her, perfect, even sounded better.

stoker
