and the bouden tube?
That the tube that guides the clutch cable to the lever, if that isnt lined up properly, any movement of the gbox will move the clutch, making it chatter

I'll check it out, but seeing as how both the gearbox shop, and lastly Bugger, worked on it, I'm fairly positive all is well under there.

Nic why dont you come past me over the weekend and I can have a look at the tube inside of the bug and just take a Quick look under neath the bug befort you want to fit all these goodies which is not needed
You say you got wheel hop ???? Do you pull away and the wheels go in to a wheel spin then one get wheel hop dont think you got wheel hop are you driving like a Schumacker again

Hey Bugger,
My Dad and I tinkered on the bug last night and then went for a spin.
It didn't want to 'choke' on itself like it usually does, which got me to thinking...I didn't drive it today, but I want to take it out again and see if the problem is worse when the car is hot, and the ambient temperature is hot.
It did however exhibit a 'jerk' when changing gears which has led me to think there might actually be something to the suggestion of "clutch chatter"/bowden tube adjustment.
Apologies might be in order...I may have been a little short-sighted in calling "wheel-hop"... *MAY* have been...not fact, yet.
The buses are driven like Miss Daisy...the bugs are toys.
