Engine design:
As there is so little information available on engine design, especially with the Type 4s, I purchased a whole lot of software to do my engine design. This is from the fundamentals to Cam, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, head deign including port sizes, valves and sizes right to exhaust collector designs.
I can now optimize any single component as well as combinations of components. Given the peak HP RPM, the rest can be fitted around that. I can identify, and optimize, any component that chokes the RPM or flow and therefore TQ and HP.
An example of my TIV motor design (about90-95% accurate):
Basic data and HP Dyno data
motor model.jpg
Recommendations for the other components
motor model 2.jpg
Fundamental performance data (Not HP)
motor model3.jpg
Exhaust header & collector design
motor model 4.jpg
Fuel consumption model

Yes it is a desktop dyno, and a host of other things as well, 1/4mile ET, exhaust designer, clutch grip, top speed, power and RPM calc etc etc. I am sure we can work something out, it wont be freebees, it is a huge investment to buy the software. I can run the numbers, or do a design and optimize the components, play with cams etc.
Also planning a flowbench
