Hey
I have a midnight blue 1972 Beetle 1600.... and I'm hopelessly in love with it!
Needs a hell of a lot of TLC and a great deal of work (the weather has not been on my side recently, don't have a garage and dying to strip my bug)... but i have great plans for ze car!
ps. this forum is GREAT and I've been getting great advice!

Hi everyone. I have a 1302S beetle - had her for years. Also, just purchased a 1974 1303 cab - won't be driving for a while as she needs fairly major restoration work

Kiwigurl, isn't Ongaonga some stinging nettle? You live in a stinging nettle? Would you like that email address for the Australian guy that restores Karmann Ghias? Like I said in the chat group, he might be able to help with a 1303 pan or pan halves.

Just a simple 3y engined 61 bus which was bought from an undertaker.and an unknown concocted beetle body 1971,floor is from 58 which I believe is the worst looking bug on the road in south africa, but that is my opinion.it is still hand painted with matt black roof paint as it was when I bought her but she does get me around

I just bought a 1961 karmann, which requires major repair and restoration work. Can anyone help with ideas on colours they originally came out in?
