Re: New Members - Introduce yourself..
Hi everyone,
The name is Tinus and I reside in the lovely bushveld town of Phalaborwa. My rides are two swb buggies which come in handy in our bushveld trips. I have even competed in 4x4 events and have raised some eyebrows. I have noticed quite a few munber of beach buggies in our town, I am sure we are close to 11 buggies. I am in the process of planning a get together for all buggies in our area and should know then how many we are. Will keep you informed of our outings here in Palagat and woulod like to share some information.
Cheers for now.

Re: New Members - Introduce yourself..
Hello all
I have my beetle for about five years now, bought the car for 6000 rand from a friend.
Engine is good, body, electrick needed some work.
Sorted all the ods and ends out and I havent had any major promblems since.
I have had many cars before(all shit),the beetle just doesnt give in.(a real keeper)
I am hoping to find some ideas on this forum as to any upgrades and extras I can get my hands on to make the beetle look the part(Pride and Joy)

Re: New Members - Introduce yourself..
Hi everyone, my name is Pieter, I am from the East Rand. I am currently rebuilding my 1975 beetle with a 13b carb'd rotary. I will be posting pics and progress reports as we go along. Johan from Jws in Wadeville is doing my motor for me ( and just about everything else
) It is nice to see that there is so much passion for the bug and its relatives here in the good old SA.
