OK, so the last post by me as a tribute to the Fugly, a bus that looked like s#!t, drove like a star, and wormed its way into all the members of my family.
She helped other, towed volks in distress, carried loads that where too heavy, Looked after her replacement by dragging her along where ever we moved to.
She gave everything she had, plus a couple of hundred kilos of rust deposits, shed body filler, like a snake shed skin, marked her territory on bad and good paving alike.
But never let me down.
We all knew this day would come, and we delayed it al long as we could, but the rust became more the body putty became less, and the cleaning became out of control.
So with soar hart we bid her fair well and may she rest in pieces, giving life to others less rusty then she was.
Her are some pic,s of her going to the transporters on her way to Bugger for use to save others.......
Pierre, if you wish, please use this thread for updated for where her parts are used and of the saved buses.
