Saw and interresting thing today.On the air intake piece that fits on the body,there is a MANN stamp.Yes,the truck Builders.

I think VW does have interests in MAN (the trucks), & MAN in Scania, etc...., like in Lamborghini, Bugatti, Seat, Skoda, Audi, etc....

The rubber tube between the aircleaner and the fitting that goes on the body was so bad,I had to make another plan.Got som tube,bend it flat,2 new clamps,and Presto!

It is all back again,and it works well.

Where did you buy that rubber tube from? What is it called? I need some for ram air piping...

Not as far as I know.

IRS automatics came with FI. but quite a strange type with the injection timing controlled with a second set of points in the dizzy.

That `s then the same as the Type 4 motors had on in the 411and 412`s
