ok does anyone know what is the easyiest way to get an odo metre back to 000000 ( i have the odo out )

today was successful
got gearlever sorted
found out prices for reuppolstering of headliner,doorcars,seats
still busy removing engine and gearbox
phoned up a few places (2)for bushings for the front beam
and tried to explain to the people at the powdercoaters what a front beam is (no luck was like talking to a dog i got a ummmmmm lemme call our floor manager and no luck there
but otherwise was the most boering day ive had so far oh yes and the engines two bottom bolts are gone i literally cant find them gone,missing

Very easy - pry the bezel of the speedo carefully open with a small flat screwdriver and open the mechanical part. Be careful not to touch the very sensitive spring attached to the needle - it will lose accuracy. The odo has a small pin that holds the numbered wheels in place. Pull the pin out, and re-adjust the digits to 0000.0 and replace pin. It is a lot easier than it sounds!

Be very careful to powdercoat a front beam, I tried it once. Even though I thought I had sealed the ends good enough, the grease inside the two beams became thin oil in the powder coating baking process, and spoilt the whole thing.
