The car looks even better in person..................I love your eye for detail that you have on this car and your engine bay is enough to make the heart pump a little faster. Nice to see you at Dirks place.

I had an oil leak on the engine so Wade Noble offered to help me sort it out. You should see what Manie from Vintage VW "put together" for me. The oil is coming out of every seal from the flywheel through to the oil pump seal. The stud bolts were so loose it was about to fall off. There are damaged threads on the studs and block and the NOS heads that I payed for are not faced off. In fact, it looks like someone tried to flycut them and it is done skew.
He did my brakes as well. When I tried to bleed the left front brakedrum I couldn't get a drop through the nipple. The flexible hose was so old it was solid.

Cant blame you for being upset.

It's a shame to put so much effort into a project and for one of the people that you trust not to give their 100%. Hope you get it fixed soon Didi.

Car's in the park is next weekend and I don't want to miss it again! I phoned oom Alby up and he will face the heads off for me. He still has the factory tools to cut the heads.

Not only on this forum. oom Alby tells me that he still needs to pay for an engine he took last year!

Oh man this sucks didi, have you spoken to Manie about this yet?

I would be knocking on his front door demanding money back, cause I know that he's not cheap.
