Maybe you should give me that semaphore SC and concentrate on this Westy. I already have the semaphores for it

Thanks but no thanks on that offer :) Working on the westy and plan on the SC. Those semaphores belong to KZN :D.

Got price on stainless exhaust R1400. Plan to go on Monday to see what route to go.

Lowlight, did you drill and tap the aluminium window frame on your safari windows? Gill's bus has stainless hinges and they were glued to the frames and have come off a few times already. I have roughened the back of the hinges once and re-glued them, but I noticed one is coming loose again.

I could use some advice, I'm a bit bang for drilling and tapping as I don't know how much room I have inside the frame before I break the glass. Can I pop-rivet?

Ron these were original but the hinge was like silversoldered on if not mistaken.

The rotor was damaged, replaced, Also seems that there is a problem with the reserve tap for fuel, need tocheck that out over the weekend. Leak on RGB oilseal.

Idling stil not right  dont know anymore, will take the carb off and clean again and check gasket between carb and inlet. The idling speed varies and then died off.

Will need to check starter bush. it is turning when cold but when engin runs a while it doesnt want to turn the motor.
