And yet another phone number!
I wonder if he's changed his number again after selling the blue panelvan (as posted by buyer on Kaapse Kombi Kult facebook group).
Most commercially restored split buses are asking prices in the range of R550k-R600k. I wonder how this guy is able to advertise freshly restored buses at half the price. I wonder what is the catch?
I do hope the new owner of the blue panelvan posts her experience with getting a RWC. I wish her well and hope that our concerns re the LHD issue don't lead to buyer's remorse.

We generally don't know selling prices. However, I have spoken to a few people driving buses built by commercial restorers and several of them have admitted to paying over R500k.

Fig, I'm not sure if the girl who brought his kombi was real, if you look at the Facebook feed she's sounds like tyl's sales person (what she wrote was similar to what tyl would write himself).. it just sounded suspect

I had a few messages with her on Whatsapp, she said the bus needed a full respray and was not as advertised. The one quote she apparently received for all the fixing and respraying was over R100k, and that was actually from a spray shop that I know really well here in CPT.
If she is one of his sales persons she is definitely not doing a good job advertising.

Another Braz resto. This one claims to be in Jhb. Same price as Tyl's Braz restos. New phone number.

I wonder where all these Braz buses came from. So far there have been similar buses for sale by Tyl in Pringle Bay, as well as sellers in Krugersdorp and Joburg. It seems likely they're all from the same source.
