Thanks guys,
Now you have seen them together, lets have your opinions on colour.
I am leaning to German WW2 desert colour.
But others say match the beetle, or a Hot Rod bright colour.
Please give your opinions.
Anybody with photoshop could colour the imiges in different colour to show us what to do......
Thanks
Herman

Agree with Tony, I think Gulf blue and some nice chrome bits would look great.

Thanks guys ...

... but not into re-painting the bug any other colour, love it the way it is.
Not sure if a bright colour would work on the truck, as I would need a shed load of chrome to pull it off.
Got me my Argon gas today, what a mission.
Also got me 3 side shafts.
Ha , now I here you all say ... What you think you doing with 3 side shafts ..???
well need VW Golf 2 Inner shaft splines, and OPEL outer shafts splines.
The golf side shafts have the same splines on both sides of the shaft, but the OPEL has two different splines on each end.
So I can cut the Golf in Half, and join the correct OPEL end to it and make up a set of two MeFusco side shafts ....
Till later.

Thanks Terry,
Yes these are original colours that VW Germany has used over the years.
My problem 1st is should the MeFusco be a original VW colour, or should it be an recovery truck colour, should it be contrasting or should it be complimentary
My personal feeling is as its an One off strange looking truck, it will get away with an WW 2 colour and as its German, the WW 2 German desert colour would suit it fine.
OR
Do I make it look like the average Hot Rod, all lollipop bright colours with lots of chrome and shiny bits.
Once I know which direction to go, the colour would then have to be chosen.
