That is what I like about these old Beetle tanks, it is only a very few people who know that if you fill a pre-68 tank with compressed air, the other ridges (except the center one) simply 'pop' out to reveal a smooth canvas for some artwork, like you have done. Looking good!!

ha ha ha you picked it up well done sir...... we smoothed out all the other ridges to have a nice canvas to work with, lots of hours on that tank!

i have another word..............INSANE. this car is insane, inside and out and all around.

the quote bout "sum lead, others follow"....couldnt be more true. i think this work of art should be taken around the world
and shown off at international level. coz theres nothing locally that comes close to it.

INSANELY AWESOME.....................well done.

p.s: when can i bring mine?

Cant wait to see the final product inside and out ... Awesome stuff. That image is gonna travel the net faster than the average seat cover !
Now where was that bolt from again ...?
And do I need to weld that together?

Fooking A! schweet. Is it possible to "Pop out" the tank on a +70s beetle? does it increase the capacity any?? and how much is that fuse box? wiring is uber neat man. Top shelf.
