ok so update on beetle i got the bushings for the front beam the tank has been cleaned up and recieved a coat of paint allround

thanks chris front beam should done soon have spoken to Rui about the front disk brake kit and he gave me a way better price so am moving ahead and am very exited

got the disk brake kit looks awesome ,bearings will need to be pressed into the hubs and then can assemble it together. but am not sure about a few things in brake kit like how the hubs are attached will post some pics soon .

so today was off to golfwagen for pads the guy with no problem swoped them out and the pads are in ,the bearings are being stamped into hubs and should be done tommorow .

14 year old build on hold untill new year

sorry havent posted in a while have been busy sorting out the front beam and a few pannels with minor surface rust,was invited down to cape town to work in a workshop getting ready to leave and will leave today and be in cape town from tomorrow the 10th of dec untill 7th of january so project will be on hold,but while im in cape town will look out for extras and will try to keep in touch while im down there and as soon as i get back i will be able to continue with the build i wish everyone a merry christmas im sorry if i dont get to your posts straight away but as soon as i can get to a place with connection even if it mean by a internet cafe i will let you guys know what i have been able to find in terms of parts and how my experinace has been, hope everyone has a great holiday and will see you guys in the new year and hope for all those people out there who are travelling to detanations they get there safely ,sorry if my spelling is a little off and if maybe some things dont make sence but have just finnished packing and will be off to bed soon
PS. the vw squareback was picked up on saterday and will sit untill beetle is done
