Do both your globes fit in the same orientation ??
Or is the one upside down to the other ??
Your dim filament will project a flat line on the wall more or less the height of your grill.
The bright will be more of a general light, and shine more or less in a round image.
Both lights should be set to burn to the left of center, on dimms
Not sure of you reflector, maybe you can post a pic of both of them, then we can help.

Thanks for all the info so far
I went to Goeie Hoop onderdele, Blou Winkel, and Hyper auto parts and non of them have them the globes with the P45T base.
So here are some pics of my lights. Seems like both globes fit in the same orientation and angled the same way if you look at the middle connector.
The lenses are mark with Top R(driver) and Top L(Passenger) so that seems right.

all looks OK,
But..... Your bulbs seem to be twisted side ways.
The bulb should be perfectly strait, with the top pin canter top, and the other two horizontal in line at the bottom.
Are your reflectors fitted correctly ??
Try by setting the globe strait, and set lights, if you then get it right, then your reflectors are fitted incorrectly.

I could not get the globes with the 45T base so installed the old round ones again for the time being.
This must be the dodgiest thing I have ever done on my kombi, and it was only for the Whales n Wheels trip. My exhaust wouldnt stay in the j-pipes.
Got the flange kit and welded them on
Will take a pic of the outcome.
Then I also got these interior 12V DC LED lights, they are really bright and a huge difference to the original lights. I installed them and after about 2 minutes of being switched on they started smoking, I took them out but did not see any damage to them or the interior light unit. These are suppose to be plug and play but now Im thinking I might need a resistor.

It might just be the manufacturing glue or resin that's smoking. Leave one in and on and watch carefully. See if it eventually stops.. or run it on your workbench and see if it dies or burns out first.

I ran it on the bench yesterday until it started to smoke, it gets really hot. Thought LEDs don't get hot ??

Do not see any resistors on the boards, D
Are you sure they are 12v, maybe they 6v, 12v is high for LED's without resistors.

The LEDs dont get hot. Its everything else that makes them work that gets damn hot. You should see the heat sinks on some LED lights...

Hi Donovan
I have 2 new globes that are halogen with the P45T base. When you in the area you can grab them.
These globes are freely available, the apes behind the counter just don't know how to use the catalogue properly....

Sean, is there a specific part number to ask for you can share? I am also wanting to replace mine, and struggled to find them.

I need some advice on my spindles. There is probably 1-2mm free play on the spindle in the direction as marked on the picture. If I hold the drum at 12 and 6 o' clock and rock the drums I can clearly hear and feel it rock. Is this ok or should it be tight ? The other side also has the free play but not as much.
