After pondering over it for a long time I've decided to restore the trailer, I sorted the underside in 2009 fitting IRS & plastic coating the a-arms etc, it still looks good underneath, just got to touch up the underseal in a few places where its been scraped off.
the trailer is very handy but has a few draw backs, these are:-
1.) The jockey wheel catches on speed bums etc. & needs raising.
2.) The front of the tunnel catches on Speed bumps & needs trimming back.
3.) The tunnel looks a bit thrown together & needs something doing to it.
4.) The front doors are made of MDF & have swollen & also let water into the load area
5.) The engine bay vents let water in when we get heavy rain which is all the time in Wales
6.) The engine bay hatch lets water in for the same reason.
I intend to address all of these problems while at the same time tidying up the bodywork & making it look pretty. I intend to paint the trailer to match Milly in Mexico Beige, I'm also doing away with the USA spec rear bumper & fitting the later style Euro Bumper which I'll powder coat in white with over-riders to match milly, I'm also considering fitting fiber-glass rear wings with elephant feet lights so it looks more period with the late bay.
Any way some progress pics:-
