From a 914 if I am not mistaken. Have few boxes full of gauges at home which I'll probably never use. I just like the look of them. It's a sickness

So,
a big thanks to Muds, he sold me a big steering wheel which I'll be doing up as best I can.
Collecting my 3 gauges today as well.. So my Box of replacement bits is getting bigger by the day. Now has two packs of the chrome Beading, 2 Headlights, 2 Tail lights, 3 gauges, Steering Wheel.

Jeez, don't let the mafia or the rest of aircooled know tho, clearly they don't like odometers being reset and all.
Like a care anyway. The idea is to have my odometer show distance MY car has driven in the time I've owned it.. The speedo in this Speedster isn't an original anyway, so I really don't see where the problem is with resetting a speedo. What do you guys do when you put in a new motor?
Moving on.. Steering wheel is currently getting a makeover\modification. Pics to follow.

I think that the issue comes in when selling the car.............you selling it as having 20 000kms for example would be misleading as the engine clearly has loads more kms under the belt already.
New motor goes in, the speedo stays the same.

With performance engines you cant change the km's everytime you change a engine " Aint no body have time for that"
