Hey sarel just wondering if you did some research, on that air suspension kit from people who have bought before?

Yes I did, a lot. But it was simple and easy, this is the only one of this style of kit, the other types use bags all round. This may be the first Bug with Air ride locally, never seen or heard of nother 1.

No just asking coz i know allot of people don't agree with the Quality of Airkewlds work.
I know there used to be a bug that had all round bags but its now lives in the UK with its owner.
So your bug will most probably be the only bug in SA to have Air ride suspension.
And what your plans for the beam? Would look really good with a 6"...obviously you will have to do metal work to the body and tank to get the towers to fit for the A.R, but it will be worth it in the end.

Hi, its a 4" narrowed beam. From what I could find out, they do good work, very few complaints nowadays. Good enough for Chip Foose to use em??

With the kit I'm installing, bouncing is out of the question, it cannot do that. Its merel a height control system.

Just means when you go to shows, you can park it and let it all the way down and people will think you are crazy driving a car that low. :hangloose:

What speeds can you hit with the A.R suspension before they rip off? Just thought of that, cause you obviously going to put in a engine with a bit of power.

Ya know, why don't you tell us at what speed? Maybe go have a look at Beetle suspensions for a change. You never even seen this system as non is in SA

Ya know, money can buy me many things but intelligence and expertise are none of them things, the Interweb can show me many things, people do have opinions, not all of them counts for something. Wtf? Apart from that, I did not get where I am today by following others frequently misguided ideas.

Well firstly I didn't say Ive seen this system before, but I have seen a bug with airbags....way different and way better (I.M.O) to air shocks.
Secondly, if i knew what speeds you could go up to I wouldn't of asked you.

Oh the speed, planning on about 230Kph, so at what speed will this happen then? Care to kindly explain exactly what will rip off and where this will happen? Maybe I can improve the design and prevent some other person on the road from being killed if this happens, and myself as well, obviously. And also pass the roadworthy. :?:
