your camper looks really great - I must say I prefer the original window winder handles to what you have on now, matches up with all the other "black" on the door cards. those pockets look good and useful ...

I agree about the window winders & later on I put original ones on.
We are off to Belgium, Luxembourg, France & Germany on our road trip. :0

The thread started in October 2008 & now we're up to June 2011

Done a load more little jobs on Milly today, started off by moving a dodgy looking cigarette lighter socket that was screwed just under the light with the wires showing, never liked it but it was handy to have so I moved it to a slightly better location:-





Need to make a wooden or plastic pole to fit this next:-


& sort out this scruffy thing:-


Luckily I had my little helper:-



Found a pin switch location near the tailgate hinge:-


But had to remove the overhead locker to get to it:-

Fitted the pin switch, then I realised the hinge won't reach it. My neigbour Erik called around wanting me to list his stuff on eBay so we struck a deal, he had to help me, so we removed the side locker:-



Then I made a bracket to strike the pin switch:-



Then before I fitted it all back I pumped Waxoil down inside the roof:-




Then I secured the curtain so it wouldn't get messy again:-

Fitted the side locker & overhead cupboard back in:-

Fitted the rear speakers & wired them up properly with hidden wires. Gave Milly a bath then took the bus over the park for some photos:-

Got some now bits to fit:-

Switch head & decal for my interior light, I didn't realize it came with a decal anyway:-

I've had this in the garage for years, I'm in two minds weather to fit it or not?

Decided to drop the oil, I'm shocked how dirty it is after only 500 miles, I wasn't going to change the oil filter but now I will:-

I think the oily gearbox is the result of a previously leaky engine, I will replace the gearbox the oil before I go away & the next time I remove the engine I'll take the box out the same time to clean & paint it.

The engine has been leaking from the drain nut because I used a random nut last time, now I have the proper one on it will be fine.

Right finished my service now by fitting new oil filter, new air filter & new oil I normally use SAE30 but was advised to use multigrade so thats what I have done:







Can you tell which air filter is the new one?

Got my thermostat delivered today together with a new bracket, fitted my new cable & the cable clamp of Chug Chug, decided to fit it. I've not got the original bolt for the thermostat wheel so used a normal bolt & cut down a piece of aluminium tubing to act as a spacer. Now its all fitted adjusted & tinware fitted:-

Bought a rear bumper trim, but it won't fit between my over riders, so I'm going to straighten it, powder coat it & sell it on as a mint one:-
