Good one Louis, where was the wiper axle broken, how did you fix it?
How much rust have you got on the body apart from the area behind the cab?

Hi ive cut out that panel and fit a 1.6mm sheetmetal over

And on the wiper axle ive cut of the broken shaft and punch out the other shaft in the tube. Then fit a 6mm steel shaft., cut 5mm threat and put sum nuts on. I'll post pic of it later

You can lower your bus by putting in some adjusters, Diesel electric sell vdo gauges and senders
My biggest fear is that my wife sells my cars for what i told her they cost !!

Louis, that widebed floor does'nt look that bad, I've seen far worse. Do you still want to keep the profile of the floor original. Maybe you should see whats available before you hack into that floor.
Whats the condition of the load bed floor on the pick-up
itself?. When I replaced the loadbed floor of my bay window SC, I found a guy in Montague Gardens who made a very close profile.
However he was'nt keen on making sheets for my widebed floor (which is ok now as I scored one from Eugene a while back).
Here's some pics of the floor made up for my '74 SC. I messed up with the rivets though, spoils the whole finish :(
