Paint on the motor is great and all, but I actually meant the car's colour. Looks very retro cool.

borrowed a petrol cap cover and had it mixed. color coice i think was the hardest desision. went for the least common (ct) and most original. retro coll is xactly the lokk im going for.

hi guyz, its been a while since my last update. wont bore u with why's of the delays but its pretty much to do with when u outsourcing work and having to do it all over coz some ppl just dont take pride in wat they do. this weekend i got a few things done and hav taken some pics.
1) fitted cane parcel tray that i made
2) fitted my special gear knob
3) worked on my steering wheel that i stuffed up
4) polished and fitted rear ash tray
5) fitted door stoppers
6) fitted dash cover panel in bonnet
CAN U SPOT THE STUFF UP
BEETLE RIM MAKES THE PERFECT JIG
LAZER CUT THE WOLFBURG EMBLIM INTO CUE BALL WHICH IS NOW PAINTED COLOUR OF SEATS

Looking good! Great idea on the steering wheel. Very nice work on the parcel tray as well.

What did you use the to wrap it the final time

The horn ring is on upside down.
Not to worry,easy fix.

Did I see well and are that my widened steelies, that are renting at bugger at the moment..

i used the same cane that is used for woven baskets, i first burnt it a bit with a blow torch to give it some grain, then stained it with wooddoc stainer to give it the dark redish colour.

cut new slots, filled up the mistake and ready for final paint this week
