Ok let's get started. finally saw the van in the flesh and it's not as bad as everyone made it out to be.
Image

I have sourced a complete front-end and found a original replacement dash. this will solve a large chunk of work as the a pillars are f**ked.

Ferdi will be starting the investigation soon on what is really needed, but from initial glances I reckon:

- complete side roof repair panels
- rear corner gutters
- side gutters
- inner sills
- outer sills
- cargo door bottom skins
- cargo door sills
- cargo door inner
- cab floor
- front cross-member
- rear valance

Now this is where I call on this community to try and help me out and support locals. IF you know of anyone selling fleetline/split parts, i'd really appreciate any info. The more I can source here, the easier it will be from a restoration point of view.

you know if the paint had been cool, i'd run it rat but it honestly looks like a gang from camps bay, with gold speedo's, decided to accessorize it.

that lovely rainbow shit is being sanded off asap.

Great colour combo. Looks like a "Delux" panel. If ever there was such a thing.

The deluxe trim is actually pretty nice... hmmm

I do have a hankering for this:

keeping it commercial, but with a slight twist on it. Now that might work with the trim

Looks like a van Nightrider might have used. Add the deluxe trim to that, and you have one stunning yet unique van!

Empi's work so well on a van....

That look is a long way off, we have decided to move to CT sometime next year and i'd like the van to be ready to take it, so aiming for August.

The main thing will be the hunt for parts and spares, oh and working out what to do with the interior.
