Is licensed in my name and has a roadworthy.

It runs fine, drove it as a daily for 3 months and took it to quite a few shows in that time.

Factory interior is still very nice and clean. Pan is solid. From the pictures, obviously it can be seen that the car needs bodywork, else keep it as it is and rock it as a ratty with some lowering and decal work....

Motor sounds okay, although there is some piston slap.

Looking at R8k.

PM me.
I really shouldnt be interested, but for some reason I am :) Can you tell me more about the car, i.e:
  • What is the rust situation? Where is it and how bad?
  • what are the mechanicals (other than the engine) like? Gearbox? Suspension? steering?
  • Any electrical problems?
  • What parts is the car missing?
  • Are you also including the donor car in that price?
  • Are the papers in order? Licensed?
thanks,
Gary

- surface rust all over the roof, tops of fenders and bottoms of doors have some rust issues, nothing that can't be fixed. There is some rust in the nose as well.
- Gearbox is perfect, steering/suspension no issues. Rear shocks need to be changed though.
- PO did the brakes, front and rear just before we bought it
- Heads were redone before we bought it - may have the invoice for parts bought.
- Electrics, everything works fine and is 100% original.
- There's nothing really missing from the car, it does need some carpeting inside
- Donor has been sold already.
- Papers are all 100%, engine number matches the numbers on the papers, disc expires March or May 2011.
- Currently has gold Rostyles on with 185/65/15 tyres - tyres have 70% tread

If you wanna swing by to have a look at it for yourself, no problem.
If it's too low, you're too old

...Finally said goodbye to The Ratback this afternoon.

I will miss this car a lot, it sure holds a lot of memories.

The new owner promised to look after her and it went to a good home, so at least that's some consolation :D

Enjoy the car Stuart.
