Hi ALL,
The prototype dash is finally here......
As can be seen from the photo, all looks perfect.
BUT...... .....we have a small web between the 3 gauge bosses. as can be seen from the photo.
This will be repaired on the mould as well as small bumps on the mounting line, so all will be well.
Please note the edge has not been trimmed, but this can be done. Please let me know how you would like the dash to be, trimmed or untrimmed. WHY you all ask at once, I hear, ..... Well if it is untrimmed, you can fit bigger or smaller clocks in, leave sections on to cover spots that will be exposed otherwise, or to cover the vent holes that you have removed, or have not got....
Just an extra bonus, I have also had NEW boot trim made for the type 3 that have type 4 motors. ...
Have a LOOK at this......
Well let me know as the shop needs to know how many must not be trimmed.
O!! YES !! you may fit the new dash over your old one, if you so wish, then the original dash will stay with the car for future use......
Or you can foam the new dash in place. HOW's THAT !!!!!!
