Ag please fig just take some photies of the inside, floor, dash. I'd also love to see more photies of the everything else  Also I don't like those tyres with the little white stripe so you'll have to change them before you sell the dc to me.
I just saw this now ... I'll take more pics when I get a chance; maybe next weekend. I don't like the low profile tyres either, but changing them is not a priority right now.

I think VWSA called it Horizon Blue, and it was a very popular VWSA colour on all models from the 1950s to the 1990s.

Are the wooden strips in the load bay original :?:

I have never seen them on a VW pick-up before.

And the interior, also in the same condition ?

Thanks Paul. Yes, the interior is also almost perfect, even has the rear rubber floor mat, a thing I've never seen. The only blemish seems to be a small hole in the driver's seat caused by a broken spring. This bus also has its original load bed slats, which I've never seen on a SA pick-up.

I'll take more pics when I get a chance.

Hi Sean

All German pick-ups had wood slats to protect the load bed. I had never before seen wood slats on a SA ACVW pick-up, and I'd always wondered if SA pick-ups had them fitted. Thanks to finding this bus, now I know ... :hangloose:

The wood slat mounting holes are there on all pick-up load beds. Once the wood slats are removed it leaves lots of little holes for water and sheep piss, etc, to flow down below the bed and rust the underside of the bakkie out. Daisy, my 67 DC, is very rusty underneath because of this.

Woah! I love the double cabs, and no matter what you paid, it was worth it. I have been trying to find a good one for a while now. The search continues although I am waiting to find out about one in the KZN area. It will be nothing like the condition of yours though mate.
