Caterham style seat. Rear section in primer. all glass panels drilled and attached with Dzus fasteners.

we may have found a new easy way to put on a new "gel" coat to prevent surface cracks coming through while maintaining a thin panel. Might report back if it works...

Sure, a light little car like that, heat easily dissipated through aluminium drums, low unsprung weight, why not?

Not needed and wont fit in the new seat either anyway. Just swop out the brake fluid for Motul RBF 600 and you sorted. If i haven't managed to boil RBF 600 in either my Elise or the Birkin then it will come no where near boiling in the Vee. And correctly adjusted drums are just fine for 10 lap sprint races or a hill climb.

Well i took it for a drive. this thing is going to be a handful to race, It is bloody fast for what it is. Now i know why they limited them to 1300's! Can pull off in 3rd like you pull off in first in a beetle. Need to drop the front suspension and work on the rear suspension a bit.

paint on the engine cover and new axle boots?

We not happy with the paint on it, it's gonna get resprayed. And the boots are old news.

The new bits are the rocker arms on the rear suspension. the old ones were horrible. the centre bush had siezed and the whole unit had broken out of the rocker arm. bit of dremel work and i had all that removed while my father set to work knocking up the rocker arms.

Proabably spray the rocker arms yellow to match the other yellow bits on the car. Gearbox needs to be painted some colour, need to go look at the hammerite selection available, or might use an engine enamal grey.

new oil cooler scoop made up out of alli aswell (not pictured). we relocating the oil cooler further forward than what it used to be, almost down next to the driver.

And i feel A LOT safer with the caterham style seat in the car and a lot more comfortable.
