It looks very nice... A lot like mine. Just one thing, can you adjust your timing without taking the exhaust off?

Re: My beamish buggy rebuild & mod's
Thanks guys, I hope it look okay once i'm done Bugger.
I think the pics are a little misleading ron & gill, there's enough clearance between exhaust and dizzy to get your hand in there without burning.

Sorry to say Arnocil, but I used Powerkote previously and was very dissapointed.

Re: My beamish buggy rebuild & mod's
I have notice on a friends buggy, it seems like the coating were to thin in some places and it starts showing rust. I have confronted the guy at powerkote about it and he said they will recoat if that happens. So i hope for the best and will be on the lookout for any rust on the exhaust.hitlers revenge wrote:Sorry to say Arnocil, but I used Powerkote previously and was very dissapointed.

I was more thinking along the lines of taking the belt cover off so you can see the timing marks?arnocill wrote:Thanks guys, I hope it look okay once i'm done Bugger.

I've seen a few ads for these cylinders kits in the states and notice they were guite expensive, even second hand. What i've also learned is that the empi gtv bug used these, so the guys that restore these bugs are looking for them.

Ja, 'zactly... I have pretty much the same set-up and I had to ditch my very nice alu-cast Badger belt coverarnocill wrote:Ooo, i had another look and it seems that the cover will come out, but i have'nt tried it yet. Ja, and when that broke is when I hung up my Badger. Exactly!arnocill wrote:Get electonic ignition, then there's no need to fiddle with the timing that often
