So far it has worked for me. Just pulling away nicely and then putting my foot down but I noticed recently that the gears don't select as they used to or maybe because I'm used to driving other cars more often. I have been thinking about getting a gearbox and sending it to bugger for a proper makeover and maybe changing some ratios etc as soon as funds permit. As you said one thing at a time. Another thing I have been looking at is more electronic goodies http://www.jandssafeguard.com/safeguard.html I like the interceptor unit. I still want to update my DIY EGT gauge to include a Cylinder head temp but must buy a thermocouple first. So many things so little time and $$
