Got something interesting to add with regards to E-tolls.
Firstly I don't have a tag and no I won't get one. I'll pay the tolls though as I'm law abiding, just send me a full account and I'll deposit the R15.60 that I owe.
I drive through the tolls and about 3 weeks later I get an sms saying that because I missed the 7 day grace window period in order to get the discount, I must now pay R72.30 and that an account will be sent to me. I ignore it, and decide to wait for the account to arrive. I got it yesterday, nicely colour printed scumrail account for R15.60. I walked into the bank this morning and put a R15.60 cheque into the account.
I can't see how working like this can actually make them any money.

I wanted to pay cash, but they specifically state that extra fees must be paid for cash deposits. I dunno how they work around cheques, but I don't pay for my cheques, so I write them out like they are going out of fashion.

Received 5 individual envelopes today, about 25 separate pages, 2 accounts have now passed the payment date and they now expect me to pay the 200 percent inflated penalty costs. Fukc Sanral I'm not paying a F-ing cent. In one case I made it passed 2 gates in less than 3 min I had to be doing about 300 km/h to get it right.

Have you seen Sanral's armoured building in Cape Town? Armoured to protect them from the public? Looks like heavy screens attached around the outside.
It is next to the N1 highway, near Durban road. Corner of Willie van Schoor and Mispel roads.

Love the idea of rotating plates to protect you plates when parked up or for a show, honest officer

I wi not get tagged. I will not pay any etoll fees. How can you pay iv they send you a copy tax invoice. There is no alternative routes to pass the tolls. This is against my constitution. They cannot make me pay. I pay enough in petrol tax. So scumral can go to hell.

Sorry for you!
I've started to get etoll bills. I have no intention of paying any of them until they summons me (if then). There's no way they can prosecute everyone who refuses to pay, so long as we ALL stand together and refuse. Every person who kowtows and gets tagged undermines the fight against this corrupt system, which has nothing to do with funding roads and everything to do with providing an annuity income in perpetuity for CancER cronies.
Getting etagged is a vote for corruption and abuse of power!

Also get bills in the post
My kids love the free scrap paper!
30 billion missing/unaccounted for last year, thats twice the cost of fixing the road!
Exactly how many times do they want people to pay for this
Watch the cartoons here, very informative!

The clowns I work for are giving E-tags to anyone who wants one, at no cost, they must think that it's some sort of perc., idiots I took 2 and threw them in the bin.

I think the company I work for is in "cahoots" (excuse the spelling) with Sanral. I don't have an e-tag and will never get one. I travel from Centurion to Kempton Park and sometimes Joburg on a daily basis. I have bills piling up but I refuse to pay a cent. What my company has decided is that we can't do a travel claim if you don't have e-tags. They even invited Sanral to our offices to sell them to the staff.
I am now arranging all the meetings at our offices so I won't need to do any travel claims. Screw them all..I have also read that Sanral is proceeding with their plans to build toll gates in the Western Cape.
