Nice work. I think that in all the years of the forums existence, this is the first and only Split Beetle build thread on here

Thanks Blitz,
Always nice to get comment, and I hope that this here tread may, inspire guys to take up more "challenging" projects, and save the last few gems out there, before they "Float" away.
All forum Volks, please see if you have the single-window regulator (I think its called), the thingy-ma-jig, that makes the window glass go up and down on the 1952 Beetle that has no vent window.
Will be needing both, Left door as well as Right Door, please PM me with cost.
Thanks
Herman

Herman,
Nice getting all the parts together....deep pockets you will need. It is a serious commitment getting a Split Volkswagen to fruition and I can attest to that. I admire what you have accomplished so far. Good luck and following this thread religiously.
I know where you can find the reproduction brown RHD rubber carpets for your car when the time comes. Will stay in touch.

Thanks 51 Splitfanatic,
Should you have web sites that I can use, please post then here.
As the cost is so high to restore a Split Beetle, I need all the comparisons I can get.

Thanks Guys...
Thanks
Impi, for box of bolts, have sent off for cleaning and plating, so look out for the photo's on them soon.
The Beetle is on its way back home, and will be posting photo's of her home coming.
Got some more parts from the land of few, so my
"Parts needed" list is getting shorter, not by much.....
So till the home coming,
Thanks for looking.
Herman
