Started playing around with the electronic side today. Now here's my idea:

I'm going to use a 60 -2 trigger on the front crank pulley with a magnetic sensor for the rpm input to the Gotech ecu

The MSD distributor that I'm using now will be taken out and a VW 2,1 distributor will be installed. The chopper plate in the distributor will be modified as to only give out a TDC sensor.

Use the Gotech PRO X computer and run it full sequential so one injector will trigger at a time. The spark will be distributed with four coils. One for each cylinder.

I will use four injectors for the petrol and four for methanol injection to cool down the combustion chamber at high boost.

I'm using a 2700cc type 4 in my oval racer, but I still prefer the type 1. More parts available, rev's like hell and makes good power.

Next thing I also want to do on my beetle is change a bit on the body again... something like a little wing on the back maybe. Any suggestions?

I def want to tint the windows as the roll cage gives it all away

I'm sure ther is no need for tinting, your bug will be up the road so quick the dudes will not even have a chance to look at it's backside never mind inside. :D :D :D
BTW what have you done to your box or what are your plans to keep all that HP where it should be?

Hmmmm....If you can blend in a Porsche Whaletail, go for it..Lol.........How about a set of BBS wheels from a Jetta V5(5x100)/Golf 4 Cabriolet(4x100) for that true Racelook? They not that hard to pick up because all the guys put those big wheels on...

I'm running a 1300 gearbox with the rough gears. Standard syncros. The diff is locked. So the box is almost stock standard.

I've used this specific gearbox for very long now and I've never broken anything in it... and believe me I drive her like a hooligan. Launching at 6000rpm with bf drag tires. :)

Nobody want's to dice me at the robots when they see the roll cage... except for the super bikes, but the still give me a hiding.

With the turbo setup they can come :)
