The braking system has been redone... new slave cylinders, new brake pads, new rubber hoses. On two of the old slave cylinders, one of the pistons were stuck. Would still like to replace the single circuit master brake cylinder with a dual circuit one and also replace the piping from the reservoir.

I’ve been told that the master brake cylinder of a Mk1 Golf 17mm IIRC will work using a spacer. I think there is also some info about it on this forum from some member(s) having done it.

I posted that pic before of the golf mc with the spacer but it is only usable when youve got disc brakes aswell. Something to do with a residual valve inside the master cylinder

I've bought from Willwood in the past, but they are imperial threads and the locals dont have anything that will adapt...
CB performance in USA also has but I havent bought those from them yet.
