How do you get the lights at the angle they are on this car?Do you have to cut?

Some serious metalwork there - not only cutting - I guess you'll have to merge the Notch fenders with the light buckets of an Early Beetle as well.

I won't cut my notch!I wondered about the angle of those lights and thought when I saw the green Notch for the first time that they came out like that.

Thanks fvanz.The PO is towing her down to Bugger in the next week or so.I'll then drive up to JHB to go fetch her.

Just a thought...if it is only the fenders that needs modification for the headlights, The fenders are just bolted on,you could always easily change it back to original at a later stage if you want?

That might be an idea.

I also thought of that.Get a set,modify them,see what they look like.And if it is not nice,change it back again.

then instead of modding the headlight assemblies, why no cut them out completely so they can be welded back in if needed, then modd some beetle headlights to fit as required
