It would help if you can fit them to a running vehicle. Projects are normally progressive, your bus seems to follow an anti-project methodology. When is your museum piece going to run again?

I now have tried everything!Even BAB was here to help me.
I changed the Carb
I changed the distibutor
I even got a 009 dizzie
I re-installed the electronic ignition
Checked all the plugs and plug leads.
Timing is set right and it is getting fuel.
There is spark and I changed the rotor.
Coil is new.
I fitted a new dizzie cap.
The battery is charged
IT JUST WON"T START!!

I went back and forth from electronic to stock, and the cap was also changed.I'm starting to think that this a mechanical fault.Although the engine is turning over very smoothh.

have you checked to make sure you are timing the dizzy 100% correctly and you have the plug wires lined up to the correct cylinder?
Turn to TDC. Remove rocker covers, check which pair of rockers is "rocking". Note which cylinder that is (1 or 4). Turn engine to put #1 at TDC. Line up mark on Dizzy to TDC. Then turn dizzy a ball hair further in the direction of rotation to ensure a ignition point just after TDC. Wire up spark plug leads in 1432 rotation. Start car.
Have you checked for power at the coil? Stupid question I know, but its a start......

The mechanic,Tommie Lions, that came to check the problem, has been around beetles for the last 45 years, and has experience beyond belief.
He sorted my Bus out in about 10 minutes.
I did not even considder the plugs,as they were brand new,and didn't expect them to be faulty.
