Hi there!
My name is Elli and I am a VW Beetle newbie ;-)
I moved from Germany to Cape Town beginning of the year and found a wonderful beetle from January 1972 and since then we are madly in love and very rarely seperated.
The beetle looks like new with just 60.000 original km...
As a newbie I don't really know much about the whole do it yourself world and I hope its ok if I ask for a good reliable mechanic in Cape Town? :-)
Would be great if you could give me some advice where to go or with any future questions that could come up!
Thats all for now
Have a nice evening,
cheers,
Elli

Boet, if you asked me, I'd say "it's a joke". I wouldn't buy such a quote. Beetle's clock only goes so far, then start again, so what you see, aint necessarily what u get.

Original... :flash:

First of all >> Thank you for your answers and mech tipps :)
The km status >> I couldn't believe it either but the owner had a complete service book with all data of each service and the km etc. so based on that book I thought it could be maybe true. Furthermore the car got recognized by some Beetle driver on the street and they mentioned the low KM too so I'd say I'll believe the best instead of the worst ;-))))
But anyway, thx guys for your help!!!!!
Cheers,
Elli
