Do yourself a favour.Phone the local traffice, when he answers the phone,be very nice to him and tell him that you know that he is busy and you don't want to waste his time. Then jump him with this:

"'I'm forteen and want to build a car as a project for school.I found a car that I can buy,but I want to make sure it's not stolen before I give him all my pocket money.Would you be able to help me,PLEASE?"

9/10 times, they ask you for the numbers, and run it through the system. Then you'll know if it's clear or not.Once that's done and you know it's safe, run down to the clearance offices, and get a certificate.

so soon i will be mooving to tzaneen and the bug will follow and will have a workshop where the bug will stand as i work on it and then when i need spares will be down in jhb every third week of coarse gettng the bug down to tzaneen has set me back so getting the adjusters welded in and buying rims to allow the bug to stand will have to wait will most probally look at selling the variant as it will cost to much to make two trips one for the beetle and another for the variant so it will be up for sale and the beetle will be going up in the next few weeks as soon as everything is sorted.
