Hi all, I bought a VoPo914 in 1983 (my first car) andI still have it. The time has now come to resurect it and hopefully rebuild it as an updated usable car. The bodywork had been hacked before by a previous owner so authentic restoration is not an option. I'll be looking at something like a 2,5 litre engine (I am aiming for 120Kw) with uprated brakes, tyres and suspension. So Yes I am a newbie to this forum but an oldie as far as air cooled cars go. Pleased to meet you all and all type 4 suggestions welcome. Cheers, Stretch in Cape Town

Hi there,
I recently bought a 1961 Bull nose Karmann Ghia and I do not have the faintest idea where to start with renovations. Any suggestions?

Hi you all.
I'm Willem and nick name (Beetlemad). I Love VW and my Beetles. I did have a 73-1600 (POEKS) Beetle, but had to sell her when I lost my job. But, God is good and I do have a new job and I do have my VW in the garage. I have a yellow&white Beach Buggy (POEKS II) with a 1.9lt VW Kombi engine. LOVELY Buggy. Then I do collect scale model VW cars - Hotwheels, Dinky, Maisto, Matchbox etc. I do have over 600 Volkswagen models scale 1:87 / 1:64 / 1:42 / 1:24 & 1:18.
So, if there is anyone that have a VW Toy that needs a home talk to me, I will always have room for a special Bug.
Thanks
Beetlemad
