BTW, update your profile to indicate where in SA you are so that when you ask for things we can point you in the right direction a little easier.

Hi Eben thanks for the welcome. As a concerned parent with all the rubbish that kids are exposed to I recently decided that I needed to get my son out of the house and away from the elctronic games and restore the balance. So we decided to embark on a VW Trike building project. What better way is there to work(have fun), that is not onlynd educational, but also fun together, than spending quality time on a project. The Trike kit has been ordered and should arrive end January 2010. We have bought a '74 411 motor which is currently being reconditioned. Will keep all informed as the project progress

hi ppl im a newbie to this site, om from pta, i have a 1972 beetle 1300. i have my beetle for 3 years now, just overhauled the motor and its running like a dream again. there is alot of this a want to do with my my like new paint, interior seats and stronger motor of course lol, like a rotory or ej20 turbo conversion, any idees or advive that can help me will be good thanks.

hi blue i got them at a friend of mine, its tsw 15''. will put bigger rims on if i put a bigger motor in. so what conversion u doing on the motor?
