Hi all,

I am a newby, I used to have a '74 beetle completly restored with some nice extras, but had to sell due to difficulties.

I decided to join, as I am in th process of building or buying a Pipecar. My dad used to take me to the dunes in arniston, AWESOME fun!! I have been searching the net for the last 5 months for plans and ideas, and I met a guy in a forum (http://www.airriders.ca )from USA, he was kind enough to help me.

I now have plans, with measurements etc. But this is not going to be easy. I am going to need parts and LOTS advice.

Therefore I am here, I hope to make some friends soon.

Very nice forum, just a pity there is no "for sale" section.

cheers

Hi - I'm PackDonk. As the name implies, I have many burdens in life. Most of them are self-imposed, but a few are beyond my control - such as the weight of the atmosphere, or the fact that my camper was stolen............ :x

I am no longer in possession of an ACVW - but want to be. I've owned a few - my favourite was a '61 (I think) 1100 Beetle (6V) which I'm sure weighed more than my '74 1600 - I know because I had to push it often!!!

I harken back to my earlier experiences with a (shock horror) water-cooled Kombi camper; I want another one!! But this time a gen-u-wine ACVW pop-top. :zhelp: Anyone?

Happy 'Dubbing everyone.

Welcome to all the newbies!

The For Sale section is called the Offered section, and you need to apply for access to ensure you're not an exporter. For instructions just follow the instructions in the relevant sticky thread at the top of every forum index page.
