Been fitting the side shafts and the decals to the doors.

FYI, should you be fitting "once off" CV joints and side shafts for the 1st time, do a trail run, with out grease,

You land up a lot cleaner THAT WAY..........

Been a time since the last update, so here goes.

Been busy with family life, death, visits, and other issues, but managed to get a few hours in.

Had to do some drilling and tapping on the front brake calipers as the threads did not look too good, also fitted new disks and got the wheels painted.

Sure you would want to see the wheels, as they would look on the truck.... but here goes ...

Before hub cap ....

After hub cap ...

So now for the proof that Herman has fitted a Type 4 2Lt Kombi motor with a Type 4 gearbox to the front of the MeFusco, landing up with VW aircooled Front Wheel Drive.

So here you go guys, CV joints, disk brakes, side shafts, Gearbox, McPherson struts, all in place and near ready to go.

Thanks for looking,

Till next time

Thanks Alan,

We will see, maybe as a "built-up", or as a "Kit car"

The important part is to get him done.

Sorry guys, Not much to report.

We are busy with the wiring and fitting the electrical equipment, but its a bit slow.

Got a VW SP harness, but its so bad and modified, I have to strip it and use individual wires to make my own harness

Brake lines have to wait till after the 4th Jan, as my brake guy is closed, so busy with other things.

Will be keeping you up dated

So yes we still on the electrical.

Fitted the dash and gauges, as most of the donor car was trashed, we need to make up parts or repair fitting or bolt points.

My brake guys making up my complete pipe system, should have that in the next day or two.

Still looking for the head light dim / bright and flash high beam relay. Looks to be a national shortage.

So till next time , Keep safe

Correct ...but truth be told ...

He has Scottish leader front, German Power house central management, and a cute French back end.
(Vauxhall) (VW) (Renault)

(the old Dutch is the old Toppie, and the Brazilian only in name)
